Terms of service

The service

Keep & Tend is a shared care app that helps a family keep medications, appointments, documents and updates in one place. It is operated by Southbound Software. By using Keep & Tend you agree to these terms.

Accounts and families

You need an account to use Keep & Tend. Keep your sign in details safe and tell us if you think your account was used without your permission. A family can have more than one member, with roles such as owner, editor and viewer. The person who creates a family manages who can join and what they can change.

Your content

You keep ownership of the information and documents you add. You give us permission to store and process that content so we can run the service for you and your family, including reading uploaded documents to fill in medications and dates for you to review.

Only add content you have the right to share, and make sure the family members you invite are comfortable with it.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use Keep & Tend to break the law or to harm another person.
  • Do not upload content you do not have the right to share.
  • Do not try to access another family's information or disrupt the service.
  • Do not resell the service or copy it for a competing product.

Not medical or legal advice

Keep & Tend organizes care information. It does not diagnose, treat, prescribe or give medical advice, and it does not give legal advice. Always follow the guidance of the doctors, pharmacists and lawyers who know your situation. If there is a medical emergency, call your local emergency number right away.

Free and paid plans

The basic features are free and will stay free. We plan to add paid plans with extra tools later. If you choose a paid plan, the price and terms will be shown to you before you agree, and you can cancel at any time. A single paid plan is meant to cover the whole family.

Disclaimers

Keep & Tend is provided as is and as available. We work hard to keep it reliable, but we cannot promise it will always be free of errors or interruptions. Reminders depend on your device and its settings, so it helps to keep notifications turned on.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Southbound Software is not liable for indirect or incidental losses that come from using Keep & Tend, including a missed dose or a missed appointment. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that cannot be limited by law.

Termination and deletion

You can stop using Keep & Tend at any time and delete your account. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts other people at risk. See the privacy policy for how deletion works.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product grows. When we make a meaningful change we will tell you in the app or by email.
